Relief Security Officer

Job Purpose 

As a Relief Security Officer, the purpose of your role is to fill any gaps in the security team rota as needed. 

Job Overview 

In this role, you will have an integral part in providing support for all security operations filling any gaps as needed in the security team rota. This also means helping members of the team who are ill, on holiday or away due to an emergency. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Ad-hoc support for our security operations
• Ensure buildings, valuables or people are safe and secure
• Patrol, secure and monitor premises and CCTV camera footage 
• Driving vehicles as and when needed
• Health and safety and Evacuation procedures

Requirments 

• A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor and Security Guard licence 
• CCTV licence (desirable, not mandatory)
• Excellent awareness skills
• Hold a clean full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills 
• Knowledge of security techniques
• Knowledge of site and local emergency procedures 
• Experience in working in a similar role
